PETG pellets

Polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene terephthalate, polyethylene terephthalate or PET is a type of thermoplastic polymer, which is obtained by synthesis from petroleum.

The physical properties of PET and its ability to meet various technical specifications have been the reasons why the material has reached a relevant development in the production of textile fibers and in the production of a great diversity of packaging, especially in the production of bottles, trays, straps and sheets.

It has as its most relevant characteristics high transparency, high resistance to wear, corrosion and heat; Very good coefficient of sliding; Good chemical and thermal resistance, acceptable moisture barrier; the compatibility with other barrier materials that together improve the barrier quality of the packages and therefore allow their use in specific markets.

It is fully recyclable. Its surface is varnish. It has weather resistance, high folding resistance and low moisture absorption.
